With all the users on here who claim to have depression or other mental health issues you’d think they’d understand not shaming others for their issues
Right as you responded...
Who mentioned harassing? See how easily you slipped that in to change the entire conversation?
Treating you different as in, not being attracted to you, not picking you for the team etc
Ok well even that stuff? Why should someone be treated differently for their own choices about their health that isn’t affecting anyone else. It’s purely out of phobia
Tobacco literally gives you cancer
There is no link between cancer and marijuana smoke despite there being evidence of apparent cellular damage
Inhaling smoke into your lungs is bad for you!!!
Just people smoke cigs more. People can chain smoke cigs more easily.
No one chainsmokes weed
The problem with saying “being fat shouldn’t be accepted in society” is basically ignoring that so many industries in America have led to where we’re at. Fast food marketing, agriculture subsidies, alcohol industry and marketing, fitness industry being full of snake oil, nutrition industry filled with conmen.
It’s very easy to get fat and it ain’t easy to get not fat.
You're right that the American diet and food industry is disgusting. 'Eating healthy' = spending more money. Sure, you could argue 'eat less' but at the same time, it's a huge problem that is based on American's being impulsive, too comfy, and over indulgent. 'Muh late stage capitalism' is crumbling society and there's no argument against it.

1. It does effect your performance with certain tasks
2. Most people find obese people unattractive, that's something you gonna have to deal with and not cry about. Its your choice

Thanks Pizza the hut
let people be overweight who f***ing cares man, i got my own s*** to worry about
that's fair but 40% of adults being obese is a wild stat

I’m literally explaining to you scientifically how the smoke is different and studies have shown no harmful correlation to marijuana smoke like the harmful effects tobacco smoke causes but you’re still stuck on “people just smokes cigs more”
If you're obese and cool with that cool, but you can't complain because people treat you differently. Thats on you
Same rhetoric racists and homophobes have

'Mental health acceptance' has also gone too far. Surely going to catch some flack for saying this, but it's leading a whole idea of 'I can't do this because of _ (condition)'. It's totally okay to have mental issues, and breaking that barrier down in society was a good thing; however it's *YOUR JOB" as a person to handle it and get help. Lots of documentation on this lately:

Well get at these industries too.
Bring back fat shaming(well I do it already idgaf) and f***ing get at these industries contributing to that s***.
S*** needs to end
Also its easy to lose weight just go f***ing run or s*** be more active than being a sedentary fat lazy f***ing slob
The thing is it’s hard as s*** to shame these industries. It took forever just to get these companies off trans fats, which the use of was only justified by reduced costs and data showed led to increased fat retention and increased stomach fat. People protested the ban. King of the hill even made an episode defending our god given rights to eat trans fats
It’s all so absurd. Best thing we can do is be supportive of our fat friends and co workers losing weight
Same rhetoric racists and homophobes have
Not even close, I can't change the color of my skin and your gay brother can't change his sexuality. Not the same thing, nice try though

@plants been shaming the ag industry for years now too!
S*** goes nowhere when the government protects those industries

health is like the most valuable thing too
it might not be easy but that doesn't mean its not worth doing
1. It does effect your performance with certain tasks
2. Most people find obese people unattractive, that's something you gonna have to deal with and not cry about. Its your choice
And that discrimination is ok? I’m not talking about fat people being denied D1 scholarships lmao
Something you can change being something that it’s ok to discriminate against someone for is some wild logic lol

This too; who doesn't want to take care of themselves? Plus there's still ways to eat said 'unhealthy' meals but cook them with healthy ingredients and reduce salt, sugar, oils. (shoutout cooking thread). The lazy American diet of 'fast food 24/7' is realistically the biggest problem.
I don't smoke
But I believe it's been helpful in cancer patients for nausea and s*** like that related to the chemo.
Your best shot at beating cancer is fasting
“A plant-based diet rich in whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and legumes like beans and lentils, with limited amounts of red or processed meat (no more than 18 ounces per week) and a strong emphasis on eliminating all processed foods, sugar-sweetened drinks, and alcohol” - World Cancer Research
“Scientists reported that THC and other cannabinoids such as CBD slow growth and/or cause death in certain types of cancer cells. Some animal studies also suggest certain cannabinoids may slow growth and reduce spread of some forms of cancer” - American Cancer Society
Weird. I think we should banish them to Alaska instead. Out of sight out of mine.
Every day person pushing body positive want to lose weight. Stop b****ing and hit the gym.
Why is other people harassing you about your own health on you lmao. It doesn’t effect them at all
I mean it might not affect you day to day, but on a macro level im not sure a majority obese population is beneficial for anyone..

Your best shot at limiting cancer isn’t limiting the nutrients your body needs to heal via fasting

Not when it's objectively unhealthy or stigmatizing
If I got a tattoo on my forehead that reads "I Eat Ass" I'd expect to not be invited to the christmas card photoshoot, it comes with the territory
