krishna boundi think a lot of people don't want to admit that it's not that "fat people" are discriminated against when hiring specifically, it's that a lot of hiring is done based on beauty standards/attractiveness, and obv the vast majority of people don't find fat people attractive. the same thing happens with men and height in hiring, since being short is perceived as unattractive:

Okay well that’s a broader discussion that goes beyond the topic of fat people being discriminated against in those those regards, which is what my post was responding to. If you had asked if I thought beauty standards were a greater issue in general candidate selection then I’d have agreed with you.
