I responded to this earlier. If you read the last part of my post my biggest concern is the affect this has on future generations and our children.

Nobody should ever think it’s acceptable to be overweight or obese. It shouldn’t be something kids see people praising and normalizing.

Be fat and obese, that’s fine, but don’t expect society to say you’re a hero for choosing to be that way. We should still have a collective understanding that it’s an unhealthy and undesirable lifestyle

Here’s where I stand

I think we have enough empirical data to state being overweight for prolonged periods of time increases your risk of developing several potentially deadly ailments

By that measure we should actively combatting obesity
But I mean that in a non aggressive way basically just have better education around nutrition and s*** like that
Maybe make restaurants be honest about the calories in their foods or something to make consumers more aware if they are looking out for their figure/health

Beyond that tho I don’t think you should discriminate against and overweight or obese person unless not doing so would put them or others in danger
