Bro idk how people can think about just moving to a city like NYC or San Fran without a job lined up and a guaranteed place to live during a national housing crisis. Especially without connections in the city you're moving to, it's gonna be really hard to stay there
People are resourceful believe or not. We didn't get to the top of the food chain by not having the ability to adapt and thrive. If you don't have kids or too many responsibilities tying you down somewhere you can probably figure it out anywhere tbqfh
NYC is cool till you realize you’re paying 3 grand to live in a broom closet. It’s not a place to restart your life unless you got a legit plan or got some decent bread already.
If you come out here, as native New Yorker here’s one piece of advice. Get to know other natives. Most people who move out here live in a bubble with other transplants and it’s almost like they’ll make their own version of NY and try to tell everyone else what NY is really like. Don’t be one of them. Tiktoks version of NY isn’t real so don’t expect that to be reality. But definitely of the coolest places on earth, nothing else like it.
yeah, they're all almost there.
i don't know where to relocate rn and i don't have any close ties to where i live/job market isn't great rn, so i was thinking of just moving close to them to feel better
Florida has the best vibe out of any state, baddest b****es too. Live there with your fam, stack bread, go to the beach, then live in downtown Miami once you can afford it
you niggas gonna learn you don’t gotta live in a trendy city to get lit
you can’t buy swag
