DZENot mad that Obama didn't change anything because politicians don't really change anything especially in America. Politics is bought and sold by people that can't be voted out and maintaining that participating in that broken system is going to fix anything is sheer idiocy. Trump is president because the system worked how its supposed to.
I’m only mad at Obama because the image of me waking up at 12am the night of his election and my mom telling me “we won” and feeling like good things were gonna happen, will never leave my mind. And I just can’t personally forgive him for fooling me like a dummy like that lmfao my pride won’t allow me.

Bro you know what's crazy, is that I realized this throughout the day after I said this. Bc believe it or not, I am personally getting a lot of money irl (not even a lot but I came from nothing) and I can already feel myself starting to feel the same way
But the problem is, it's just an illusion. No matter how successful or how much money I have.. as a black man in America I'm still hyper susceptible to life altering racist actions happening to me or my loved ones.
