@Bill_My_Zoot didn’t wanna quote the whole thing but loyal to the game/pac’s life was right when I was obsessed with him as a kid and never heard his projects get promoted and all that good stuff so it was a crazy time with me and my friends getting hyped and thinking he was still alive lol
So I was jamming to those 2 religiously and yeah looking back his vocals do not that style of production and sounds horrible in general
Need to listen to the other ones though! I think the only one song from the other albums mentioned was Thug’s Mansion
I'd say its worth skimming through those pre-loyal to the game albums. some gems here and there. also worth going through the OG tracks too.
love this song. its a shame the vocal track ended up being damaged and partly unusable.
Bury Me a G
His 2nd verse (verse 6 in song) is my favorite of his
u ever heard the solo version? fire
Been going through my every 3 months Pac phase and dude I just now heard this song and damn. He really knows how to light a spark in you @Goo
!https://youtu.be/rhMPxNYAv6QNobody has a better rap voice than Pac. Nobody.
Song is great overall but that 2nd verse in is just godly to me
!https://youtu.be/H1HdZFgR-aABesides that song it’s probably If I Die 2nite, he was snapping
Goosebumps every time.
How we feeling about the posthumous catalogue these days?
I feel like R U Still Down, Still I Rise and the new stuff on Greatest Hits are mostly respectful and feel true to his material overall, but as soon as the 2000s start they took a nosedive beginning with Until the End of Time.
Until wasn't thaaat bad overall, but it's really the beginning of the end - Better Dayz is mostly weak, and then Loyal to the Game and Pac's Life are especially embarrassing.
Tbh I like Until
My favourite Pac song. That second verse is godly. The f***ing king.
Also love this vid. He was on top here.

Shoutout to Outlawz here too: every verse fire
Also theres this alternative clean version of bury me a G with a alternative pac verse & dramacydal (outlawz) instead of thug life, would love to know the story behind this song
My favourite Pac song. That second verse is godly. The f***ing king.

Makaveli era was different.
Makaveli era was different.
Energy on Bomb First. Imagine being conscious during that era and buying that CD after he died. Must have been crazy.

also this is arguably the outlawz best performance on any song tbh
I can’t imagine what it was like when Hit Em Up dropped and the streets (actual streets) was playing it.

Kaddafi verse godly here

for sure. he was reaching his prime when he passed. this is one of the last verses he ever recorded. I remember downloading this from some bootleg mixtape years ago and its been a personal favourite since.
Come hell or high water, down to slaughter opposers
Just another lost soul, stuck, callin' Jehovah
Outlaw 'til it's over, brandish my strap, back like a cobra
I stay drunk ‘cause I'm a mad man whenever sober

!https://youtu.be/Nk7IniDQBUQAhhh man I forgot about this. I remember downloading this from Limewire years ago. I always knew Pac was mad when his delivery was like this.
I’m in such a Pac mood now. I love angry Pac and uplifting Pac in equal measure. Suge was a bad influence, but damn did we get some fire music in the post-prison and Makaveli era.
Would have loved to see what he was going to do with the new label
My favourite. Mixes the written with the off the dome s*** flawlessly. Also, just such a casual vibe. Man was a superstar just going in the studio drunk af letting the world know who the f*** he is and what time it was. I love imagining Pac just freely wandering in the studio and lacing this s***. Gave us a gift forever.
I listen to this freestyle quite a lot and never get bored.

Doubt the label would have been anything crazy or really gone anywhere. Deathrow was still the parent company. Hammer & Snoop were supposed to have there own label too. Seemed to be a way for them to put on less profitable artists that couldnt get signed to deathrow

What's crazy is 7 day theory might be his hottest album imo, bro was just getting started
love this song. its a shame the vocal track ended up being damaged and partly unusable.
The one with Keisha Cole my mom played religiously
Nobody has a better rap voice than Pac. Nobody.
Him and Meth have the best voices to me, you feel it all
