At my gym there’s this guy who’s like 50, he does full bodies every single day and hella cardio and he’s in perfect shape. Pushes mad weight and odee cardio but he’s also been at it for like 30 years. Either way that routine looks amazing on guy

so the general rule is, if a certain muscle group is no longer sore, then theres no reason why you shouldnt train it again.
so lets say i hit chest on monday, alongside other superior muscle groups, then on tuesday i hit legs, chances are that on wednesday, your chest is no longer sore. So hitting chest 2 to 3 times a week actually increases hypertrophy response

I did a bit of research
most people saying the results are the same the only thing is you have to be at the gym more with splits cause you have to get all your muscle groups in. I don’t even think that should be the case tho cause rn I get all my main muscle groups in (chest back Tri bi) twice a week and legs abs shoulders once a week that’s my 5 day split. Either way both get similar results, I just assumed if you were doing less workouts per muscle group during full body

taking a few days off to rest because 1 might be coming down with something, 2 its much needed rest i think because for the last few months i was lifting 5 days a week with only 1 day off in between so i will rest my body and get back to it soon, 3 the only thing that kinda bothers me is gym consumes my time and with me not going what will i do

Finally going for abs, progressive overload going nicely for weighted AB exercises almost bout to max. Do I just up the reps, upper abs I feel solid but no definition at all on lower abs

ya especially when your a creature of habit and even go on those days that are mentally tough too/sore days like me, like at work i am always walking so that helps plus i am still doing some sort of lifting at work tbh i cant remember the last time i took a full week off

I’m at like 14 percent from Dexa scan, 172 lbs and 5’10 but like literally no definition at all at lower. I don’t think I get any leaner
