    You’ll probably get bigger if you focus on muscle groups but you’re probably going to be more fit doing full bodies. Depends on what u seek bud

    I don't really care about size just fitness so i think ill just stick with full bodies

    I took 2 days off before today with cardio on the second day. I also smoke cigarettes I feel like that’s taking a toll

    its actually the opposite. You'll actually get bigger if you do full body workouts

    At my gym there’s this guy who’s like 50, he does full bodies every single day and hella cardio and he’s in perfect shape. Pushes mad weight and odee cardio but he’s also been at it for like 30 years. Either way that routine looks amazing on guy

    Maybe at first, but after 6 months I think you’ll probably plateau (size wise) on full body and get fit while the other style would make you bigger by then.

    so the general rule is, if a certain muscle group is no longer sore, then theres no reason why you shouldnt train it again.

    so lets say i hit chest on monday, alongside other superior muscle groups, then on tuesday i hit legs, chances are that on wednesday, your chest is no longer sore. So hitting chest 2 to 3 times a week actually increases hypertrophy response

    Yea I get that but how would full bodies make you bigger long term? I’m also assuming if you’re doing full body workouts you aren’t going 6-8 workouts per muscle group

    just because you're hitting muscle groups with more frequency, which equates to more muscle growth

    absolutely not. Ideally, you should be looking at at least two exercises for each muscle group.

    I did a bit of research most people saying the results are the same the only thing is you have to be at the gym more with splits cause you have to get all your muscle groups in. I don’t even think that should be the case tho cause rn I get all my main muscle groups in (chest back Tri bi) twice a week and legs abs shoulders once a week that’s my 5 day split. Either way both get similar results, I just assumed if you were doing less workouts per muscle group during full body

    But that’s why I think in the long term splits make you bigger while full body makes you more fit

    taking a few days off to rest because 1 might be coming down with something, 2 its much needed rest i think because for the last few months i was lifting 5 days a week with only 1 day off in between so i will rest my body and get back to it soon, 3 the only thing that kinda bothers me is gym consumes my time and with me not going what will i do

    what do you guys when you rest for a few days not going to the gym? i stretch foam roll still go for walks etc

A week off isn’t that bad at all and you come back fully recovered and hungry to grind so it’s worth it I think, good luck

    Finally going for abs, progressive overload going nicely for weighted AB exercises almost bout to max. Do I just up the reps, upper abs I feel solid but no definition at all on lower abs

    ya especially when your a creature of habit and even go on those days that are mentally tough too/sore days like me, like at work i am always walking so that helps plus i am still doing some sort of lifting at work tbh i cant remember the last time i took a full week off

    I’m at like 14 percent from Dexa scan, 172 lbs and 5’10 but like literally no definition at all at lower. I don’t think I get any leaner
