does anyone not get enough sleep or have a hard time sleeping then they wake up tired or'' feeling sick'' but still push your self mentally to go to the gym and kill it

Got humbled yesterday yall
Went with my friend to his blink gym and got on the free weight bench (vs the supported ones at my planet fitness)
And WHEWWW.
it was bad.
At least I could still do a plate comfortably (and 140 too) but man very humbling experience.
But “it’s only up from here” so now I’m very strongly considering moving gyms tbh. (There’s no power racks/free weight bench at my gym)

i had a crazy bad sleep schedule and was working out twice a day for a few weeks eventually my body gave out and i got badly exhausted

tbh i hate lifting and only do it bc i have to martial arts and basketball are fun and keep me in shape

I just went to morning lifts and that has helped a bit
don't think i will ever not have a love/hate relationship with the gym though. PRs and s*** don't move me or matter, i'm just into maintaining.

I did this today. I thought maybe I could do it in 10 mins, this crap took me 14 mins 20 secs

U need to prioritize rest or your body is inevitably gonna give out
i try to like i get 7/30-8 hrs sleeep but sometimes its not enough when you workout 5x a week and your off days your working still lol

move away from planet fitness go to like LA fitness

no i get you need sleep i get 7-8 but working out 5x a week and off days i am still working it catches up to you

lol you did 50 pull ups in 10 mins you deserve a gold medal it takes me 12 mins to do 40 and that is stop and go like do 7 then do the other 3
