    how big were you after hitting it for two months

    Tbh i started w the starting strength workout ages ago, it’s a good way to build strength initially with the added bonus of learning compound lifts which are foundational exercises for me to this day. As long as youre eating in a surplus/sticking to a split youre gonna see mass gains

    how do i make this s*** fun again man

    lifting used to be fun for me

    i think im too fixated on the “end result” ..

    Switch it up fam. I started adding more cardio to my routine and even a dedicated arm day to my routine, even tho they both ain’t considered “optimal,” and it’s been a lot more fun

    Also it helps not to fixate on the muscle gains and the scale as much. I honestly only lift now because it helps me sleep like a baby and boosts mood a ton

    Incorporating cardio was a game changer, gave me a whole new feedback loop to contrast my lifting days

    I used to put it at about 10 incline and just go as much as I could for about 5 mins at top speed, walk for a min, and repeat. Would do about 4/5 repetitions.

    do 12% incline @ 4.0 for zone 2 for an hour
    and @ 5.0 for zone 3 cardio for an hour.
    can comfortably do both speeds (please don't hold on the treadmill lol) and recover easy
    atm doing zone 2 on monday, zone 3 on friday.
    prefer it to the stairmaster
    cut just began a week ago so I'll keep you posted

    Yeah, but i was also on a very strict diet at the time, which is probably the biggest factor.

    That’s fire, what do you do on cardio days fam? I usually do 10-15 minutes of stairmaster or treadmill as an extended warm up on lifting days but really want to add a dedicated cardio day

    @Marc_Cool_Guy

    lately ive been doing stairmaster at 80spm for 25mins on cardio days. The progression is satisfying and i feel adequately cooked afterwards

    Wanna start running this summer too
