did legs today so i started doing that 5x4 sets instead of 3x7 and i find that the 5x4 is a ot better should of done it earlier especially when doing heavy

You know how when you do db chest press you’re often told to bring your elbows in so it really focuses on the chest? Try doing the db chest press but with your elbows out, parallel to your face. Try it for 3 sets and lmk if your face f***ing morphs

Trying to get to 230ish, was at 260. I didn’t realize how damn bulky I was. Strongest I’ve ever been, but really felt so out of shape when I’d hoop, run, play tennis, etc. I’m loving this feeling again

been havin a real bad pain flareup the last couple weeks but im proud of myself for doing what I can anyway. hit a little 2 mile run after work yesterday in the 99 degree heat. did some really minor workouts this morning while i was watering the garden. just some ab work on the decline bench, a few kb swings, and a couple sets with the wrist roller. also not being a dumbass who "needs to feel the pain to know where I am at" so I been taking otc pain meds the last couple days and that's been good. takes the edge off fr.

Would recommend getting into the pull up position, then rolling your shoulders back, then squeezing your scapula, then pull up.
I think you’re pulling with your traps more than your lats so that’s why that keeps happening. Proper form programming like I pointed out above before doing the movement should avoid that injury. Just always stay aware and keep doing that form check, even if it’s annoying. I used to get hella neck pain and pulled delts until I just started being a robot with form lmao
