Ran 18k today, went tough as f*** but I made it. Time do some resting

    Sheeeeeeesh

I got in a good hour of zone 2 this morning. S*** was tough to start, felt like my legs were made of stone. But about 20 minutes in I finally got in the zone. Sometimes those are the best workouts, because you’re training your mind and willpower as well

Those are absolutely the best, and highly rewarding too! Because you feel like you’ve overcome something when you’re done. Good for your mental resistance and thus your physical abilities. Good job man!!

Also good to recognize what you need to do or overcome to get into your comfortable running zone, those are gains which aren’t talked about enough

Might just need some electrolytes. I’ve been feeling a lot of fatigue lately too but heard that being on a cut so long the body’s just not holding onto the salts. Got some nuun tablets and they gave me my energy back right away

I had me a big ass plate of jambalaya today too that’s covered my cravings for a bit too. Sometimes I just crave those carbs

I actually can’t believe it. I must’ve been overtraining before because I’m dropping more fat/weight after not doing as much cardio 😭. Deficit is still the same so maybe I wasn’t giving myself enough time to recover 🤔

How long would your break be? I’m 3 months down now but slowly starting to get some diet fatigue

Sometimes the weight drop off can be delayed. Basically when you empty your fat cells of triglycerides, your body will fill the cells back up with water so when you weigh yourself daily it seems like nothings happening then all of a sudden you’ll start shedding the weight.

But recovery is still key and you gotta be able to sustain what you’re doing to be able to reach your goal

I’d probably go just a week on maintenance if I took a break. Just structure something at maintenance so I can fit in a few things I’ve been craving

But idk I might hold off. I got a trip coming up in September so I might just use that week as something to look forward to as a break from the diet. Dangle the carrot a bit further down

Also try those nuun tablets as well. Main reason we run into fatigue after being on a cut is the loss of electrolytes.

You’ll notice the difference pretty much immediately. Daily might be for the best but basically listen to what your body needs. You can drink one in the morning, and one during the workout, whatever works best for you. I’m tellin you soon as you drink it you’ll feel what you’ve been missing. The nuun tablets are only about 60 cents a serving and you can get em cheaper if you buy in bulk. Some of the other brands are more expensive like liquid IV. Supposedly Costco has a liquid IV knockoff that’s at a pretty good price tho.
