So after that a huge s*** blocked my half marathon last week I decided to go for a 17k run this morning. Start early at 6am cause its getting hot, and then run on heart zone under 150. That was fairly doable so I made it half a marathon because f*** it. Felt fine, water vest is cool, except I had to take a dump again after 12km. Except this time I didnt gave in.

Would’ve said to ease in and do a couple lower volume days before starting back up to get that initial soreness out the way. But it’s a bit late for that.
Make sure you get enough sleep in the meantime, getting a massage gun or a foam roller and staying hydrated can help for now. Can always take an ibuprofen.
