Depends on your eating habits in general tbh
main issue imo would be how much food it would be in one sitting yanno & it might make it more difficult to hit your macros with one meal

In theory I would eat a typical portion that I eat in my regular b-l-d cycled day so I wouldnt eat to overcompensate.
I gained some nice lil muscle (with some pudge) but i wanna lean out (no Future
) now.

The idea of “permanent metabolic damage” is largely a myth so I wouldn’t worry about hurting yourself in the long run.
If you can do OMAD and get sufficient calories to have the energy to get through your day and training, enough protein to retain muscle mass, hit all your fiber and nutrient needs, and can stick with it til you reach your goal, then go for it.
Side note every time I see OMAD I do a double take because my brain always go to the GOMAD(gallon of milk a day) bulking diet

Sat cardio 10 mile run
Sun hoop
Mon upper body
Tue legs , hoop , or hiit
Wed rest
Thurs legs, hoop , or hiit just can’t be a repeat of Tuesday
Fri full body , upper body or rest if im tired
Decided to end my “constant state of bulk” and eat in a deficit with high protein intake everyday around mid June
Currently 25 lbs down (started at 261, down at 237 today). Can dunk again, mile is back under 7 min, feel athletic as hell

Switch rice for sweet potatoes. Slice them into French fries and bake/air fry. Great carb replacement and fiber.

As you can see big fan of the veggie and it cleans my system out every morning I wake up.

i cant eat white potatoes because it raises my blood sugar your also diabetic? and if you want to cleanse your body eat oatmeal
So after that a huge s*** blocked my half marathon last week I decided to go for a 17k run this morning. Start early at 6am cause its getting hot, and then run on heart zone under 150. That was fairly doable so I made it half a marathon because f*** it. Felt fine, water vest is cool, except I had to take a dump again after 12km. Except this time I didnt gave in.
Even though its hot a f***, Im going for a gym session as well after work.
dam bro its crazy to finally find someone who shares the pain of running with a funny stomach
my biggest issue is that at around 10-12km I might not get tired almost at all but I just become SO bored its hard for me to get more kilometers in. its really strange, I try to focus on my audiobooks at that moment and sometimes it helps but the boredom never really goes away during longer runs
