in terms of anti-rotation and anti-flexion movements i'm very strong but anti-extension is where i'm weak

Plank and ab wheel alone will get you right, doesn’t take much.
Also look up TVA workouts (core muscles that wraps around your core like a cylinder), like stomach vacuums first thing when you wake up.
Also it’s a little different, but if you sit on a med ball and reach backwards towards the ground and round your back around the med ball, this really activates that TVA muscle we often don’t even know exists, and will blast your core strength. Usually it’s activated best when you round your back forward or backwards and hold it between reps
hacksquat moving beautifully but getting left knee pain afterwards
this doesn’t happen when i do leg extensions or goblet squats though
maybe it’s cuz i’m not stretching ?

appreciate the advice brodie, luckily i do have an ab wheel and mat so i can definitely do those exercises. same with the vacuums. as i get more stable i'll look at the other stuff too
With the weight loss I feel like I’m blasting through the roof doing pull ups, feels really really good
Went running this morning 12k on zone 2 and directly did a gym session after work. 15k trail event on Saturday, so Im doing a different program this week
do you ppl eat sardines ? its one of the best things for protein and high in zinc
On a running 35-minute clock:
From 0:00-12:00
Every 3 minutes for 4 sets:
5 back squats 80kg
From 12:00-17:00
Rest
From 17:00-35:00
5 rounds, each for watts:
Max watts row (cap at 20 seconds)*
12 Russian kettlebell swings 24kg
6 Dumbbell thrusters 2x 14kg
Legs are something like spaghetti right now, but the workout went pretty good
Just ordered a vest for water during runs, anyone has some experience with this?

Might look stupid but someone advised me to use one for runs above 20k
I don’t even think they look that stupid I assume anyone wearing one can run way further than me
dam bro its crazy to finally find someone who shares the pain of running with a funny stomach
my biggest issue is that at around 10-12km I might not get tired almost at all but I just become SO bored its hard for me to get more kilometers in. its really strange, I try to focus on my audiobooks at that moment and sometimes it helps but the boredom never really goes away during longer runs
Having the same problem right now, I’m in good shape and can easily finish my run but I just get so bored especially on this long straightaway on the second half it’s hard for me to keep myself going
Need to find a new route for tomorrow
If you run something like 3 times in a week I would indeed do some shorts and a single longer run. But also vary in tempo.
Besides a steady routine, its also fun, challenging and good to vary within that routine.
I like these ideas too my run is very flat but there are hills in my neighborhood that would be great for workouts

Been craving them, I eat a lot of tuna

That’s a great variation in addition to intervals
