Was gonna say you probably don’t weigh a lot which makes pull ups easier do you do wide grip or neutral
I do wide grip on my pull up bar. I usually tackle those first in all my routines to get it out the way. it is my all time fav exercise
And yea im small and naturally atleast a little bit athletic so i have genes on my side as well to do that many pullups. If yall seen me irl you wouldnt think its that crazy
i just push myself like a dumbass sometimes

Yea but i cant afford it yet ngl. Was just tryna skip straight to 1 arm since i cant yet, I guess i could put books in a backpack but doing goblet squats w kettlebell wit that s*** almost messed my back up.
I know in order really gain muscle mass and induce hypertrophy is to up the weight and keep the reps at 6-12 (atleast thats what my PT told me) so like i said in an earlier post, until i can afford some more weights and a belt, its pretty much just strength/endurance training rn.
But yea your right. Instead of trying to get to a more consistent place with 30 with just bodyweight, i should lower the rep with a weighted belt and try to do 30 in a row again in a few months, see if theres any diff

I started doing weighted dip consistently after I got tired of doing 15+ for reps recently I go up to 55 pounds and try to do 8-10 reps you really notice the difference when you try body weight again

do you think combining mesos into a macrocycle is beneficial or is it too much theory and only good for advanced lifting? I finished my first meso and almost at week two of my second, I wonder if I should target anything in particular during this cycle or just keep doing mesos forever trying different stuff out whenever I want

What do you mean?
Dont you just consider a macro cycle your season or year, and then cut that into 3-4 week mesocycle blocks? Like all your mesocycles over the course of the year/goal/season are one macro cycle. I’m cutting til I hit my goal, which is basically going to take the whole year and I’ve been building my workouts on 4 week mesocycles. The entirety of the cut is the macrocycle.
You could just keep doing mesocycles forever. Just change your blocks based on what your goal is at the time. Unless you have a particular long term goal in mind it’s whatever really.

True! You can hyperfocus on specific training regimes and diet, but showing up consistently and training intensly is the most important thing
