    yea at some point you gotta stop listening to these guys and just f***ing lift lmao. 6 months of consistency will mean more than knowing about your macro nutrient ratios and “peak metabolic phases” which often times just confuses dudes

    try and do as much as you can like for example if your doing chest with dumbbells and your doing 80s and you can only do 5 do 5 if your doing 85s next and can only do 3 reps do 3 as long as you get to a 20-25 rep range your fine you can also stick with a weight like do 3x8 that why you still hit a high rep range it all depends

    wym the concept? you don't need to hit the same reps each set. for example, i did incline bench on the smith machine on tuesday and i did 12 reps in set 1, 10 in set 2 and then 8 in set 3. because my total volume was 30 reps, i'll add weight next week. a weight that keeps you somewhere between 8-12 reps/set should be what you're looking for. if you're struggling to hit 5 or 6 reps in subsequent sets then the weight is too heavy and you should start with a lower weight in your first set next time, but otherwise the bar slowing down is a good sign that you're working hard
