depends on what you mean by "swing". Throwing it like a mad man ain't gonna do you any good, but a little momentum to get the weight up and a slow negative is fine.

Needing a little bit of advice here, its been 4 or maybe even 5 months, i've been doing push ups daily and some cardio every now and then
Really struggled at first but now i can do 60 push ups a day and my body became more toned, so a lot of progress got made.
But what im asking here, can i get more buff or acquire more muscle doing just this? Or do i need to hit the gym necessarily?
Btw i dont do any kind of diet, just try to eat as good as possible, i weight 60kg and height is around 1,70 cm or more

Agree w others u need more intensity to put on mass. But you could keep doing body weight stuff if you like, just need to progress beyond push ups
