If every other sesh means 2-3x a week you’re good. Abs way more about being low fat than any kind of crazy strength training
Yea but I'm already like 12% BF so far
Do I gotta get it to 5% or some s***

You can’t see them?
Barely can see outline of it
body fat distribution doesnt look the same on everyone
you probably store your fat in your midsection and just need to get leaner

Ah I see, I mean from here on I'm just focusing on bulking. I'm sure at the same time I could cut down the body fat further

i train them every other workout session then on active rest days i only train abs along with cardio. it is weird that your body fat is that low and you can’t see them because mine is relatively high and i can at least see a little outline. but like another member said, BF distribution varies per person. what is your nutrition like?

I can see maybe an outline of a 4-pack, but yea seems like I’m barely close to a 6-pack.
My nutrition is decent I’d say, like I mentioned I consume lots of breakfast (to fulfill my calorie intake), good amount of carbs, and potentially “bad” thing is add sugar to my coffee every morning. But look I doubt adding sugar itself is preventing my body from getting a 6 pack lmao

hmm. do you pay close attention to your macros (fat, carbs & protein intake) ? i’ve found that ever since i started dieting based off of that and not solely CICO i’m seeing much better progress and slowly recomping

I pay relative attention to macros, tbf I know I'm intaking more than enough protein required (I eat lots of nuts throughout the day + Protein shake), I know I consume good amount of carbs and dunno about fat
Though I don't exactly track them, just going off guessing

Been doing abs for like 4 weeks now, but usually I do it every other session and normally do cable crunches and twists

try hanging leg raises

some of these are extra as hell but there’s some good stuff as well

4 weeks isn't that long a stretch of time, even with low bf you might still need to build the muscle tissue for it to really appear. Can take like 2-3 months at least to see visible results.
If you've got your diet in check, low bf and you're directly training abs regularly but still can't see results after a while it could just be down to genetics. Some people have more plump abs still visible at high bf and vice versa. Are you seeing results elsewhere?
I'd recommend doing an abs superset 2-3 times a week, and if you're not already progressive overloading then do so
Lol wym?
I’m in LA county, they’re not supposed to have indoor gyms lol. Crazy thing is it was a major gym chain too

Good tips, looks like I'll just give it another month until I truly determine if its my genetics or not
The only results I'm noticing really are outside of my abs, like slightly bigger arms and very slightly more defined ab outline, looks like it'll be lots of work to get it defined. I mean it's not too big of a deal since I'm focusing more on bulking up, but I was just wondering.
Don't wanna look like a slob who doesn't work out

Man Imma give these a try today

Don't worry you'll get there and it's good that you're already noticing results that's progress. Be patient with it too you'll get where you want to be. If you're doing bulking and cutting cycles you might just look like a slob for a bit but you'll like a built slob so it's cool lol

It is what it is, this is the most consistent I’ve been in a long time and I’m glad that I’m pushing through it. Important to not be discouraged and should remind myself every time that it’ll take time to see changes
Ya'll still hitting the gym even with this current pandemic?
Just at home with the stuff I have
miss
Me going to the actual gym for a long ass time
If a person wants to tone their body would high intensity be the way to go or something else?
