Look at meal timing too, IF (intermittent fasting) will help heaps.
Ok I I’ll look into it. Btw is 1,500 calories a day fine?

I reduced body fat and lost weight without counting calories tbh so I wouldn’t be the best person to ask. I think to work out your calories you have to have a rough idea of your starting weight, resting metabolic rate and body fat %. Some other posters here have more knowledge in that regard.
I did intermittent fasting, cut out sugar and kept carbs to under 200g a day when I wasn’t training. Foods I ate were boring but consistent and if you maintain that and eat a deficit while training the weight should come off.
I started off with a bad base though and we might not be the same so I had to correct a lot of hormonal imbalances before adopting other people’s advice. I’m a newbie at working out too so I still haven’t plateaued yet and so I haven’t had to count calories in the traditional sense yet as my body is still benefiting from newbie gains.
So before taking on advice you’d need to know where you stand.

How can I figure out my body fat percentage?

I hope your right Brodie
law of thermodynamics fam I attempted to lose weight on fast food on a cut would not recommend but the weight dropped with cals in vs cals out
Also how long did it take you?
I dropped from 264 pounds in March to 209 pounds now. Gyms weren’t open for me from March-November so I got by with an air bike and a 10 year old home multistation weight machine lol
I’d be wary of comparison with others because results will vary depending on where you are at with training.
If you think about it in those terms you might get discouraged if you don’t see results.

I’ve been eating at a deficit for awhile now and feel like I’ve seen no difference. It may be because I already lost a LOT of weight by eating at a deficit awhile ago tho
Can't believe I ran through my squat with better form than last week.
I better not stall on the bench

My window was 11-7. I think that’d be a better window. Feel like 10pm is too late.
