I'm tryna keep my protein up like I'm eating eggs, Protein shakes, beef jerky, chicken w/rice, etc. while keeping it fairly low calories. Little tough man cuz I have to make sure to get enough protein while not going overboard w/ calories.
It'd suck to lose them gains, also is going to the gym 6 days a week (PPL workout) too much for cutting? Or should I scale back? I already went slightly lower volume with workouts
i would say if have the energy to be able to lift that much while in a deficit and do at least a bit of cardio most days you should be able to at least maintain muscle while cutting fat
look up some videos on body recomposition that’s basically what it is

i started doing 3 days on 1 day off repeat with a PPL split and i feel like im seeing better results with more recovery time

id say tho if youre able to lift that frequently while staying in a deficit and doing cardio then you may as well cause youll still cut the body fat while not losing much muscle
but if you cant keep up the lifting that much itd be fine to cut back on it if youre gonna bulk again anyways

you should fr it helps a lot. i use the app “Strong” and just pre write all my workouts before i go to the gym then choose one. honestly don’t know how i went so long not tracking and just winging it

i know i knew a guy at the gym he would do ppl with a video recorder, he would do 3 plates with a 25 plate just 3x and keep upping it i just found it a waste of time if your competing ya its ok but just doing 3 reps of like 4 sets just my opinion
