You’d have to be eating at the bare minimum .82 grams of protein per body weight in order to maintain muscle mass or lose very little.
There was a study with marathon runners who went on a calorie deficit by amping up their training session, and the ones who ate .40 grams/pound of protein lost a lot of muscle mass. While the runners who are .82g/body weight maintained muscle mass and did experience muscular catabolism.

I'm tryna keep my protein up like I'm eating eggs, Protein shakes, beef jerky, chicken w/rice, etc. while keeping it fairly low calories. Little tough man cuz I have to make sure to get enough protein while not going overboard w/ calories.
It'd suck to lose them gains, also is going to the gym 6 days a week (PPL workout) too much for cutting? Or should I scale back? I already went slightly lower volume with workouts
