It’s dependent on so many factors of that individual. Also depends what the composition of the 3kg is. Gaining 3kg of muscle is WILDLY different than 3kg of fat

Squat and deadlift variations . Sounds like you’re new to lifting so you don’t need a surplus at all to gain muscle tissue. Your quads/thighs will grow tho. No movement can target just specifically glutes

About to start going to the gym again after a whole 2 years

I’ve never imagined myself actively going to the gym or working out.
I’ve been going (almost every day) for the past month. First couple of weeks I struggled benching the bar by itself, so it’s cool to at least feel myself being able to lift more because I never imagined myself doing any of this.
Here’s my progress (I feel like I have slight body dysmorphia so I can’t really tell if there’s a difference)
