yap, literally increases work capacity and energy during workouts. creatine seems so essential I need to get some
Yah, its honestly the only supplement I would say every natural SHOULD take. Like pre workout and others are good, but nothing is as beneficial as creatine.
Terrible Take. Do some research
you don’t need it anyways.
plus some people deal with s***ty side effects such as kidney & liver damage, kidney stones (given that they probably aren’t drinking enough water but it still can occur)
heart palpitations and much more.
i had my personal experience with it and didn’t find it to really help at all. i’m all about eating accordingly and natural energy. plus you can get creatine from foods like red meats and fish. i even stopped taking amino acids.

The sides are typically pretty rare, granted every thing out there has occasional side effects. There’s adverse reactions to food etc.
I would recommend creatine to any natural lifter. You don’t need it but it’s proven to have an efficacious advantage scientifically. While being safe for the vast vast majority of people. It’s hard to ‘notice’ the effect of it but that can be said with anything that isn’t straight up anabolic lol. The facts are it does increase muscle performance and recovery by a statistically significant amount. It’s also very difficult to get close to the efficacious 3-5g a day from natural sources. At that point you will be sacrificing macros, caloric control and even just choices of food.
Is it necessary? Well of course not. But to anyone who takes lifting even marginally seriously, it is the best ‘natural’ product out there. It is the most necessary out of all the supplements out there.
Wanted to start a routine going to the gym early
Get up at 5am
I'm ready at 530am
My car gets stuck in the driveway bc of the ice and snow😭😭
Excuses
Anyone tried HIT? Specifically the method in this video:
!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=loOjW3n-vUMBeen "powerbuilding the last couple of years, but nowadays i don't have the time for that. So thinking about trying an upper/lower split just two days per week with this method. Thoughts?
What's the method bro I promise you nobody is gonna watch a 2 hr video
used to be 5 day a week a lifter for a good 5 or so years, i’d go on a month break here and there but i’d always get back on it. since covid i was a joke flat out joke, finally got my self on a membership though so i feel like i’m on the hook for something and kinda feel compelled to go. second week back now. damn man i missed it. so f***ing healing

Personally I've been doing the 5/3/1 program since 2014
Nsuns 5/3/1 looks good for strength
first day for upper/lower split was a success
Bench 4x4/Tbar Row 4x8 (superset)
OHP 3x8/Chinup 4xAMRAP (superset)
Tricep Extensions 4x8/Bicep Curls 4x8 (superset)
finished in 70 min, would have been an hour but the supersets were gassing me half way through the OHP and Chinups
TMO is gonna be
Back Squats4x4/Dragonflies 4x10
RDL3x8/Calves 4xAMRAP
Hack Squat 3x8
Block Pulls with Trap Bar 3x8
where can i learn a good home routine I got absolutely zero equipment.
There is plenty of things on youtube to watch. I did some workouts since quarantine until ladt year, they were pretty decent. You just need to see which kind of workout/timing suits you best.
try to get enough rest between sessions as well but this is pretty normal if you're new to it. I struggled for two-three weeks but gradually got better
Same but my lazy ass just gave up and went back to regular steady cardio

One slow set per exercise, to failure. Each rep should take about 10-15 seconds, and you do 8-12 reps. The focus is intensity and TUL.
I highly recommend you watch at least SOME of the video, it's very interesting.
Feels good to be shedding all the way down to the 160s and still being able to put up 235 bench and 315 squat for reps
hit a 100kg clean and jerk! not much but it's honest work, wish it was a 100kg snatch but o well
