Ever since I have been going directly after work, it's second nature.
Felt my squats get stronger by weeks end, gonna add 10lbs a week until I can't.
Then reset to traditional 5 3 1
SMH , I f***ed up my lower back and I don't even know what I did to injure it
I can't tell if its from soreness/DOMS from when I massage ball'd it earlier in the day or I tweaked something during my leg workout last night (I didn't feel any pain or hear any pop/crack)
Who can explain to em what this means?
Squat – 5/3/1 sets/reps, 5x5 @ First Set Last ( or FSL)
Is it 5 sets of squats for 5 reps
Then 3 sets of squats for 3 reps?
Also what does the 5x5 mean and first set last?
I took my pre-workout, but forgot about the ice that's on my car from the weather, so I'm finna workout at home

I'm sure. He has over 8 years of content, I can't expect him to be batting 1.000. Still, I've altered how I'm doing lunges and squats, both of which were hurting my knees before. And I scrapped upright rows for something different

I’m 203 lbs getting down to 192-195 so I don’t think I’ll have that issue thank god. Rn fill out pretty much every large and some XLs.
How do you workout for hypertrophy and 
More reps or heavier weights
Depends on the muscle group and exercises, but in general go heavy especially on compounds. Work within the 5-8 rep ranges. For example do working sets of 8 for a weight you can barely hit for 9 reps. Every set shouldn’t be an all out max but should be damn close. And most importantly progressively overload. Depends how new or advanced u are but if you’ve been training less than 1 year, aim to add 5 lbs to your working set each lift. Once you’re more intermediate you can change that to 5 lbs a week/2 weeks. As you get more advanced you’ll need more specific periodization but that’s a different topic and more goal specific
