I got back into things. April 1st.
Just doing diet. Wanted to see how much I'd lose just fixing my diet.
Starting May I'ma do both my diet and my excercise.
Ok ok gang. Good stuff
Ok ok gang. Good stuff
Im down 5lbs overall this month
I haven't been this weight in like 2 years
I'm hype af
I've had 3 people give me compliments about how much weight I've lost and that I look good
One was this customer that’s gay and he been flirting with me before the weight loss but it still counts lol. He was saying I’m too skinny and he likes me with more weight lol. I don’t go that way but it was nice to know men think I look good too 😎
And then this crazy chick that works in another department. Short story is my old co worker stabbed his brother in the back on New Year’s Eve and she would always ask me what prison he’s at and if I wanted to visit him with her. Like nah I’m good. You can be a prisoners wife but not me lmao. Dude got 20 years to life. Anyways, she came to my department to get coffee and she kept going on and on about how good I look. She’s older. She 34 (I’m 28) and felt good that an older baddie thought I looked good
And then another homie that works there was like “I wasn’t checking you out but you look good bro”.
S*** feels weird cus I ain't use to getting compliments/ attention so it was nice
This why I don't eat anything until the 2nd half of my day.
Yea I try to have very large meals very late in the day to create that placebo effect that I’m eating more than I actually am
But sometimes eating so much food that close to bed tends to f*** up my morning weigh ins
Alright we about 2 months into using Turkesterone. Does it work?
I think so, but only a little. My strongest lifts haven't stalled yet (bench and deadlift) meanwhile my squats and OHP are at a snail's pace.
I've been adding 5lbs to my bench every week I think.
My top set started at 170lbs and now it's 200lbs.
I did 195 for 5 Saturday.
We'll see where it takes me up until July, that's when I cut.
To add to it. In the begging I was barely getting 3 reps, now I can get 5 heavy top set.
How much you weigh?
How much you weigh?
I weighed 205lbs on September 28th, a few days before I restarted working out.
Now I'm 215lbs, I'm not where I'm at strength wise but I think I'll reach that goal in July.
I’ve plateaued weight training wise for the past 4 or so months. Do I just eat more?
if any of you guys looking for an app to track your workouts with i recommend FitNotes. I'm on Android but it's on Apple as well. Free to buy but the premium app for six bucks is well worth it for the features. You can create workout categories, create your own exercises, and track by time, reps, weight, etc.
The a***ysis feature is really top notch as well. It just instantly throws up graphs and shows which way you are trending based on like 8 different metrics for every lift you practice. Incredibly useful stuff to make sure you are hitting the right intensity of workout whether it's by weight or by volume as well as making sure you're rocking steady with some form progressive overload.

Tbh you could bump up calories
I know someone who is 5'6 140lbs and eating 2200 calories on a lean bulk.
You could do 2600-2800 calories a day

New Huberman dropped on heat exposure.
Turns out that a study from 86' showed that exposure to a sauna at 90c for 4 thirty minute sessions in one day increases human growth hormone sixteen fold. He suggests doing it every 7-10 days if your goal regarding heat exposure is muscle growth because if you become heat adapted then the increase in hgh drops to 2-4x instead of 16. He also recommends doing it relatively fasted.
Really debating buying a mfin sauna to put in my backyard lmao.

have you ever tried LU raises?

have you ever tried LU raises?
!https://youtu.be/FfDy-4HN_PUlmao I think I remember u puttin me on to these some time ago
I then found some rocks in my yard that were decent size/weight and did it for awhile but I aint done it in ages now
i have a more or less daily protocol that I do using some light resistance bands on some PT vibes so I should add lu raises back into my routine
such a pain in the ass being so fragile, it's like PT style work has to be my foundation but man its so easy to just wanna do pullups and rows without a good warmup smhhh
