Why did I take them, I'm getting older and time is short, I'm 27 going on 28 and I just don't recover as fast and progress like I used to i can get 12 months or progress in 12 weeks just about.
I'm still hitting my macros and pushing myself every workout, the strength gains have started to seriously kick in by week 3 and 4, before that it was honestly normal progress.
the cut begins, family reunion in 4 weeks
I've sort of been lazy and cruising, not necessarily cheating but not been as tight with my deficit as I was previously.
but I already know what I did before and what I need to do so it's back to being meticulous
WSOTD:

Woke up late and the dumbbell racks at the gym weren't crowded!
ngl this week being out in the city literally every night for a new gig I been slacking with a late night snack
offestting it by taking extra walk/mile when I could just take a train tho (also just trying to keep from being sedentary)

fam i legit couldnt get through 5 of these a year ago.

yall have any tips for cutting your body fat. I'm on 1500 calories a day (keeping as clean as i can) keeping up mild yet long cardio, and weights but i'm not seeing results as quickly as i want to.
I recently lost 150 lbs 310 - 160, but now i'm trying to put muscle on and this s*** is f***ing me up.

My 2nd fitness goal is to look cool to myself.
My first goal is to have the strength to toss thick jawnz like like it's nothing. The whole holding them up while f***ing thing too.
I'm so serious about that goal that I might shift to a more strength focused plan

so for the first 70 i lost in like 6 months, then as i learned more about fitness i ramped down to only 2lbs a week and then stuck to that over a little more than a year

i probably didn’t hit the 2 lbs every week, maybe more like 3 or 4 but my latest check up came out fine so maybe i’m just lucky

Its pretty easy if you wean off it (and you have substitutes)
For example: In the last 3 months ive gone from eating pasta 5-6 days a week to eating it once (maybe twice) every 2-3 weeks.
And when i make it i portion the f*** outta it
make one box of pasta last a month as opposed to only 4 days (a nigga was addicted to pasta heavy)
