When do y’all know when it’s time to take a break? I’ve been going 4-6 times a week 2 months straight. Lifting no cardio.
Body feels good but I can tell a rest would be beneficial

jokes aside every once in a while its nice to have a light week.
i personally hate anything more than like 1-2 light weeks of 3 or so workouts a week. makes me feel like all my gains are lost

Deload every 4th week
otherwise listen to your mind/body and don’t force it just to say at least you worked out. You ain’t gonna lose any gains, especially if you do deload weeks

That’s real. I always feel much better and stronger after a week off but it’s mainly for my mental health after work to work out.
