I do dynamic stretches to get the legs going. Kicks back and forth, sideways, then static stretch
I don't think the stretching helps much, you're relaxing the muscles and making the tendons work before actual movements

No so I start with kicks first. Kick as high as I can forward and then backward. Both legs. There’s movement, blood flowing, and a light stretch with a warm up. Then I go into static stretches, but that’s really just because I’m working on flexibility.
But the kicks I’ve done even before I started working on the splits

100 crunches 4 set of 25
30 to 50 pull ups, chin ups, dips 10 reps per set
