    Hip flexor issue still going on

    Feel like seeing a doctor

    But he just gonna be like

    “Well that’s your problem, stop squatting 400 lbs!”

    I’m pretty new to squatting so I suspect none of this will apply but have you tried taking a break, stretching and confirming that your form is correct? I had this issue early on and doing all of that helped

    Yeah I actually took a couple weeks off thinking that would fix it but it didn’t.

    I’ve always did a little bit of warm up stretching but even started stretching more. Really been stretching the hip flexors a lot more, almost able to do a front split at this point.

    And yeah my forms good. The only thing that helps a little is ramping up the weight very slowly. But typically by the time I get to 50% the pain and tightness in my hip flexor kicks in.

    im the exact same way and i hate it bc it takes forever to get to a good working weight
