takin one week out the gym
been having this issue for about a month now where i thought i was developing some carpal tunnel or some tendonitis type s***. at first it felt like i had a lot of pressure in my hands, and they hurt when grabbing a bar, and at times i felt my movement was limited and was unable to make a fist. it was worst in the morning. now it's moreso a numbness in my hands. scheduled an appointment with my doctor but can't see him til next tuesday s***s f***ed
anyway someone at work mentioned it was probably an issue with my shoulder
and i was like
since i do sleep on my side and the numbness is worst in the morning, plus i've been liftting pretty damn heavy on the bench and my shoulders do get involved a lot in the lift with my form
so i've been doing a little bit of mobility s*** through the day and it's starting to feel a bit better. so i'm going to take this full week off and just keep running
i also sleep on my side and in the morning sometimes my hand gets numb it could be i slept on it because i put it under the pillow or its off to the side but also every morning all my joints crack too i also lift mainly heavy all the time chest sometimes shoulders but mainly back and squats try foam rolling your back every morning and other areas and see how it goes
so a few nights a go i drank some green tea at around 430 and i could night sleep that night and it effected me because i only had like 4-5 hrs of sleep and usually i get 7-8 do you guys go to the gym with less then 5 hrs of sleep
also i took mega-z pills before going to bed and idk i got really hot maybe could of been from the zinc or something maybe b6 w.e but when i was trying to sleep i could not i was just lying there and it took me more ten 2-3 hrs to sleep does zinc,mag or b6 normally do this to anyone else?

just when you learn where everything is they change the layout of the gym because it’s a new year
they moved three of my favourite machines into high traffic/visibility areas. I’m gonna be perceived now 😫😫😫

Finally got a pull up bar installed, doesn’t fit in any of my doorways
Just using it as a push up bar for now. Also got an ab wheel and resistance bands which slap
Plus my door frames have like cut outs in them so I use them for pull ups without any equipment

Tbh I used to get terrible sleep and generally only got about 4-5 hours of sleep a night and still made it to the gym, but I’ve been able to get way better sleep this year since I quit nicotine
man i could not imagine doing heavy workouts the way i do it at the gym now if i only got 4-5 hours of sleep, Before when i use to work mornings id wake up at 5am to start at 7 and the night before i could never sleep on time i use to hate forcing myself i use to get 5 at most and at the gym i was struggling all the time
