I loved this movie

Considering that there were hints/symbols of him having delusions and factoring in the ending, I do wonder if everything we saw just occurred in his head

There's also something about him being an agent of chaos or at least his presence being a catalyst for it (the agent of chaos thing was more apparent in TDK). He even mentions that none of what he did was about politics or social upheaval. A lot of what happened was symbolic to me of what no connection socially on an individual scale or widespread can do - just constant negative thought/emotion (which he mentions) which at some point will spill over into random chaos with no direction.
need to watch it again
