what yall think about bruce being part of the movie? I liked the scene at the gate, but the rest was super f***ing stupid. Haven't thought that much about it tho, but i just dont see any thematic reasons in putting him in the movie.

It’s what happens when you try to elevate the status of an ancillary character to something more.
Joker becoming a symbol of rebellion and class upheaval has me worried about where our society is headed.
My worst fear is Joaquin wins awards for this embarrassing film.
I felt the point of the movie was that he wasn’t a symbol of this movement at all

goatI thought the class warfare was to emphasize the fact that economic disparity between the poor and rich is getting worse which is why the city is powderkeg to joker's philosophy
I felt it had more to do with rich people having the ressources to make you doubt your own reality (the adoption thing being faked by wayne, twisting the murders to make it seem like it was a political act), in an Eyes Wide Shut kind of way

This makes sense even if I didn’t think they did class that well . Poor need buses, mental health and dream of becoming famous for being laughed at by the rich . Similar to a black mirror episode at what cost does it reach

Amazing movie
Personally, I prefer MCU movies and that’s not throwing shade to Joker and DC. Their movies just try too hard to be edgy
Joker is f***in amazing and a must watch. Just not something I’m gonna rewatch anytime soon
