The choreography where all the characters were exchanging blows against Sephiroth with Tifa, Cloud and Barret finishing it off was amazing. I have a lot of issues with the game but the the game oozes with so much personality that I’m almost willing to forgive it. Was pretty underwhelmed by how little of a role Zack played in the game with how much they teased him though, feel like he got done pretty dirty in this

That is exactly where I'm at as well. I do wish Zack got a bit more, but I did get hyped as s\*\*\* playing as him in the final fights lmao. Hoping we get more of him in the third part; would be incredibly surprised if we didn't.)

Think I said it before, but I'm gonna need a Kiseki game with the budget of FFXVI and Rebirth

playing this classic again one of the GOAT JRPG's that introduced me to the medium.. haven't played it in years but picked up the DS version today and literally couldn't put it down.

How’s this game solo? My friends don’t f*** with the weeb s*** like I do they just like shooting things in fps’s

Really solid solo experience. The AI is actually incredibly good (especially for the hardest content in the game) since they dodge everything and almost never die. I played through most of the game solo, but depending on the type of fight, I use the matchmaking to get some quests and grinding done. Only downside of running it 100% solo near the endgame would be having to gear your entire party (which can take a long time), so I'd just use the matchmaking for that.

Haven't done the newest quest yet though since I still gotta gear the CPUs on my team lol.

Anyone ever hear of Astlibra Revision? Came across it a few months back and played the demo, but it didn't stick with me. Gave it another shot and ended up finishing the main story today. Game is incredibly good. Pissed I didn't stick with it back when I first played. Gameplay loop is great, story is interesting, and the music is heat (VERY similar to Falcom music).

Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you like action RPGs. Not necessarily a new release, but it's prob my favorite game I've played this year and I've still got a ton left to do. The newly released DLC is a roguelike as well

Is unicorn overlord story any good?

Not really, its not bad but you will also never really be impressed by the story at any point of the game. The highlight of the game is the gameplay, managing your units is just really satisfying with the amonut of classes and items that the game gives you access to. I have a playtime of 70 hours right now and I'm still really engaged

I would try out the demo, the demo is extremely generous and can let you play for like 7 hours since the demo is time limitted but also pauses when you are on the menu screen (which you will spend a lot of time in)
