Been slacking and low on the hype since Amazon canceled my Collectors Edition but whatever

i completely forgot about it coming out on friday my hype for it has been relatively low for some reason as well. sucks to hear your collector's edition got cancelled; have heard that happened to a number of people. i think i'll pick it up when there's an inevitable price drop in a few months lol.

think one of my friends got a collector's edition pre-order in, so i'm curious to see how he likes it.

fitgirl ain't a bad idea and yeah, i liked the story a good bit in the first game, but the tone really was all over the place. i'm more than fine with a few s***ty s***jokes here and there, but that s*** was legit all over the place in that game lol.

I've never played any of the SMT games, is 3 a good one to jump into? Is the remaster any good? It's part of the steam sale rn

yeah, 3 is a good start since it's on modern consoles/PC. the port isn't bad, but it's not amazing. i'd recommend swapping out the music because it's compressed as absolute hell, so it's gonna sound like trash.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Tactics Ogre is getting a rerelease in the lead up to Final Fantasy XVI. It's Yoshi-P's favourite game and a lot of the development staff then went to work on Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story, XII, XIV, and now XVI. I wouldn't be surprised if Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story also end up being released on modern systems before XVI drops.

I loved FF Tactics so if this hits Steam I'll definitely play it

Check out Chrono Trigger. Incredible game with a development team that included a lot of Square’s top talent from the 90s, most notably Hironobu Sakaguchi (creator of Final Fantasy) and Yuji Hori (Dragon Quest).
