Obviously there is a ton of music that falls somewhere in between those, and countless groups and songs that try different themes and styles altogether, including socially conscious messages, nostalgic retro tunes, bright summer music, dream pop, metal songs with horror and fantasy imagery, pop rock, power ballads, and more abstract experimental s*** as well.
