Totally agree. I liked the first arc but loved the second. I always thought Bane was kind of a dumb character until Snyder's take on him in AB. Really hoping my library gets the third Asbolute Batman collection on release day.

Im good on waiting. I have more than enough to read/catch up on via Hoopla/Libby and they usually get the Absolute trades the same time as retail.

Got thru the first three trades of Something is Killing the Children and am all the way in. I hope to net caught up with in a week or two.
