those synths on operation love are heaven.
been going back to that song a lot recently.

I tried sorting them into era but it felt kinda weird. might try again at some point but right now now im just putting them under one big comp for now.

EDIT: oh i did separate the leaked versions of the songs from circles and labelled them under 'Circle Demos'

I started to but so many from so many different eras came out since then, it's impossible.

would probably be easier to try and sort the songs into era's rather than trying to make cohesive sounding projects from all different eras.

I prefer the leaked version of circles (the song) waayyy more still. Bass overpowers the rest of the production way too much in the final version imo,

I'm on the fence about that but I will say that bass made for a powerful first listen of the album (whip wise.)

I love Woods but Telescopes is far superior to me. Luckily they're different enough for me to rock with both

You may know this but Edan aka IdLabs who did the song with Mac said that’s not a legit version of the song as far as he knows and Telescope was the name of the beat before they made it into Woods. Also says they made it from scratch together so it’s not like the leak is some special Mac version either

I do remember someone telling me this. I still think it was official to some degree, not just a fan edit. Either way, whoever made it must've had the Circles version too because the synth is almost identical. I just like the way it rides on Telescope more. I do love the added elements of Woods, especially on the last hook.

I hear you. I personally really dislike the beat and Mac’s voice on Telescope cus something sounds off with how his voice is mixed on it. I also love the ambience of Woods too for sure

I wish we could get a better mixed Garden Snakes, even though the drowned out vocals grew on me and kinda adds an extra layer of eeriness to the song that really works.

Me neither, it's def one of my favorite tracks from him. Mac has one of the craziest vaults in the game though, we been knew. My boy is still hung up about Pink Slime getting scrapped.

I personally prefer Woods over Telescope but I get if someone would love Telescope because it's tight.
I remember that song being in rotation 24/7 when it has been leaked, I even fell asleep while keeping it in repeat one night
