Nate could’ve broken his ass again too if he wasn’t flopping around and tryna bait the nigga into a bjj match. He had Conor turning his back, running, literally running. Bot circling out. Jogging away. He’s Pointing and laughing. Instead of laughing he should’ve got on his ass again but Nates an idiot

Nate doesn't finish anyone unless it's on the ground lbh

He had Conor up on the fence and he was landing crazy strikes and still couldn't finish him.

I think y’all tweakin. He landed good s*** on Dustin and even he admitted that a couple more like that and he was in trouble. That inside calf kick deadens the nerves in your leg so you don’t have a choice, no amount of will or grit will give you that leg back.

I do think his cardio is embarrassingly bad tho, and he was tactically very off. Didn’t respect Poirier’s ability to adapt

If he can’t set you up and land that left. Your options are many really lol he doesn’t like to work in there. Grind his ass out. He’ll bend and then eventually break. It’s not even just a cardio thing anymore tbh

He told Herb Chad was stalling multiple times lol

He doesn't have a dog inside of him, it is what it is.

I feel like his career was over after UFC 205, everything after has just been extra.

I don't think he'll ever go on a run again.

Yeah it’s unfortunate, his hunger and drive just changed after that mayweather fight, but I’ll always support conor, those 2 fights of him vs Nate made me love the sport

Definitely, always be a fan of Conor.

I’ll be fanboying again when his next fight is announced.

It’s just a matter of fighter evolution. People are putting too much stock in his gameplan. He’s just a better fighter than Conor. That allowed him to use that gameplan. Not many people could pull off what he did to Conor imo. The moment or something usually gets to people.

If you believe he was “elite” 4 years ago then you believe that that version of him would’ve been better than THIS version of Dustin. Lol ask yourself what would be different. This was a skill loss. They’re not old. You think the Conor that beat Cerrone would’ve been better saturday? The Conor that faced Khabib? Idk that any previous version of Conor would’ve beat Dustin Saturday. He’s that good. A new & improved Conor would’ve have to be present. You can tell he was shocked by 1. The gameplan 2. The shots Dustin could absorb & 3. The damage Dustin was doing in those exchanges especially with the right hook. Dustin taunted him a few times after clipping him. They told him he was the best boxer in the sport. The similar shock he showed when Khabib dropped him. These dudes have been evolving. This isn’t a sport you can play games with & part-time. Although, in my opinion he was never really evolving as a fighter. Point to an time where you felt there were nee wrinkles in his game? Those Cerrone shoulders?

I agree with this take, but it's funny you used nuance here as opposed to saying he's just washed when the same argument could be made for Holm.... World1

Holm not fighting in a division where she cant get by on her same combo lol you can be washed and still hand on in her division

Yall like to pretend Holly isn’t as one dimensional as Ronda because she beat Ronda

It can be explained in simple terms that Holly just washed. Some context & explanation should be had to explain why Conor may be a step or two behind the divisions best.

Aint nobody tweakin’ what you want us to say? Find some weak ass silver lining to a bad performance? Lol. He hit Dustin nice but they didn’t bother him. If you gotta say a few more would’ve gotten you in trouble in that sequence. The. He wasn’t bothered. You can say that about so many fights. Yall putting too much weight into that. You aint gotta tell us about calf kicks. We know about calf kicks. Conor didn’t lol

Yeah I actually think Whittaker is a bad matchup for him. He try to do Whittaker how he tried to do Romero he will be on the canvas again.

Anybody rushing Whittaker gets clapped quickly lol

  • Jan 26, 2021

I think Whittaker wins, then he will have beat #2, #3 & #4 since losing his belt. I think that's enough for another title shot although unless he goes to a grapple heavy gameplan, probably ends the same way for him.

Assuming Dana didn’t lie he was basically just waiting to see if Conor would starch Poirier

Khabib had that man crying after the bout ain’t no way he facing Dustin again

Yeah there is a silver lining. He was performing well before being compromised by a single technique, if he can adjust he has a very good chance of winning the trilogy. I think Conor may even be in his prime Rn, poirier is just that good

There’s silver linings and theres grasping at straws lol he was performing well? The 1 round before he was broken down and stopped. He landed some punches that didn’t bother Dustin...

A single technique isn’t what beat him. He was getting popped in the exchanges. He was taken down. You sound as delusional as him. Lol you didn’t even see his cardio come in to play lol get real

You can’t tell if Dustin’s that good or just that technique lol

With yo “Khabib isn’t throwing any leg kicks” headass yeah & neither did Nate Diaz....

The top 5 WWs need to stop ducking Wonderboy. Colby or Jorge need to get it over with and fight him. Leon already ducked him twice but complains nobody wants to fight him.
