Studio monitors, a microphone, an audio interface, headphones, amps, guitars and a bass
Too much software to list

I don't make type beats, I just don't know how to market my work because I don't have 1 genre or sound
Slide in DMs, meet people on discord

The monitors are M-Audio Studiophile SP-5Bs
The interface is a Steinberg UR-12
Its cheap gear, but it was good enough for when I was a beginner.

Then you have to pick a genre or sound and focus on that. It might suck but that's how the beat selling business works. You won't find much success if your beats are all over the place genre/soundwise because you won't be able to have a consistent customer base.

What's the ticket on it?

I was realistically trying to get $80 for the monitors and $50 for the interface. If you're interested, I'll list them on Reverb.com and DM you the link so you can be sure you're buying from a reliable service.

You're not wrong at all. Selling beats wasn't my initial plan but the thought of being watched constantly by fans is terrifying to me so I need to be more realistic with my music goals if I were to become successful. I create music based on my real emotions and once it gets to the point of music feeling insincere or shallow in exchange for money I lose interest. I understand, at the end of the day music is a business and it can't always be enjoyable. This might not be for me.

You don't have to be in the business of selling beats to become successful as a producer. My advice to you is to find artists you like that are willing to use your production and work with them. That way you can utilize your sound and be as creative as you want. Instead of getting paid upfront or "selling" your beat just accept a 50/50 split on stream revenue. You can make a lot of money working with smaller/ independent artists because of music streaming.
For example lets say you find an artist you like and you guys make and publish 100 songs. If every month each one of those songs receives 5,000 streams it will total 500,000 streams a month and in one year will total 6,000,000 streams. Spotify pays around $3,000 for 1 million streams and if you and your artist have an even split of 50/50 you will earn $9000 in total and that's not even including streams from apple music or youtube etc. Now imagine if you have an even bigger catalog of songs you produced that are earning streams monthly, that's a huge bag.
I know someone who just works with small independent artists and has 1000s of songs he's credited on and gets paid royalties for and he's making 10k+ a month from just stream revenue. The crazy thing is that it is all passive income so you don't have to do anything else to get that money.
I'm all in my feelings man wtf
There's always a way my friend. I hope you find it and it all works out.
