So I finally got situated with a place to stay.

I game on a laptop which suits all of my needs, but I want a desktop.

What’s this situation with the GPU’s? If I’m gonna get a PC I wanna get what’s relevant NOW but I’m hearing they hard as s*** to get? Like the 3080/3090

Also was considering a maingear prebuilt?

Wait and build it yourself. And keep your eye on a RTX 3080 Ti or RTX 3090 if you want the best one out so far. You should be able to find a GPU maybe during this year if you're patient enough. I'll post here about it if I do find one if you can't find one... I would say keep your eye on one during October-December 2021

Honestly not sure. Haven't been keeping up with the the prices. I just don't want no outrageous ass scalper price but money not really an issue rn

RTX 3080 Ti OC or regular one? Sure... RTX 3090 without it been OC'ed sure... OC one? Maybe... But it's not always the case especially if you want the best version of it.

had a bsod earlier
now im having the same issue again with my gpu if i plug the hdmi and use my motherboard i can log in just fine

but when i use my gpu it freeze on the bios screen again i'd even tried unplugging the hdmi and plugging it in the moterboard while the gpu it still connected to the mb and it freezes on boot im pretty sure i fixed this before but i forgot how maybe the gpu may of finally died i guess dont really game much these days but the screen tearing is killing me using the igpu

I've been having BSOD on my 3080 Ti when I first got it a month or so ago then again a few weeks ago. I found a stable driver and stuck with it. Also, changed a setting in my BIOS that put my lane as PCIE-4.

Also @YeezyDude that day you put me on to that GPU on amazon I ordered that s*** but had to cancel it. My Amazon acc address is still at a military base I just left from and I dont have a mailbox where im at yet. S*** almost got shipped to the WRONG place

finally just said f*** it and bought 3060ti, cbf spending close to 2k for 3070. Got a model which i can overclock so i can get close to 3070

gonna pick up 5600 and 32gb memory since memory is dirt cheap atm

good choices all around, DDR5 is supposed to be coming out with zen 4 so i'm expecting DDR4 memory prices to go up like how DDR3 did.

yeah thats what i am expecting also, plus i need to get some new memory since my pc right now has had some memory issues

might as well future proof it

5600k is next on my checklist

i got 1070 currently and i can literally sell it for really good price since its one last good MSI gpus (gtx 1070 gaming x)

main reason sticking with Ndvida imo
