yeah sure the KS will be out in time for the 7800x 3D since they are similar CPUs just for gaming

yeah i watched that digital founders video looks cool need more benchmarks and dlss 3 testing, nice little teaser tho

Makes sense. They have to have something out around the time AMD releases a new CPU as well

Yeah it looks like this new version of it might be good

    By the way...

nah i have a 3070ti and the differential is pretty close between those cards, it’s a side grade and in some ways a downgrade (8 vs 12gb vram)

the minimum card id consider an upgrade from that is the 3080 12gb

If I want to upgrade to that in the future, I should wait until the 40 series/7000 series actually gets released to consumers because that's when everyone will be panic selling

in 2008 Nvidia put out a faulty line of mobile GPUs and it got Apple wrapped up in a class action for years losing millions

Steve Jobs was so angry with Nvidia he said they would never work with them again, he also cited the fact they kept forcing Cuda on the Mac over OpenGL and said the Mac didn’t need Cuda

Apple management years later still would purposely break Nvidia’s Mac drivers until finally they disabled their Dev account so they could no longer sign drivers killing all Mac support forever

the last Nvidia GPU in a new Mac was in 2012

Microsoft worked with Nvidia for the original Xbox GPU decades ago and had some pricing dispute, said Nvidia lied to them basically and never worked with them again

Sony hasn’t worked with them since the PS3

way easier than in 2021, plenty of stuff in stock now

    pcpartpicker.com/list/3yJ8yK

you could replace the 6700xt with a 3060 if you wanted an nvidia gpu

oh sweet I also live near one

they have bundle deals on ram, motherboard and cpu if you buy them together

basically the only place i go when building a new pc

you usually get the motherboard for free or heavily discounted so you could probably build something similar to what i linked for $100 less

    microcenter.com/product/607204/bios-update-service
    microcenter.com/product/609473/motherboard-post-test

they offer some nice services for new builders also, not sure what your experience level is

yeah if you can, rumors sound good for AMD but maybe they just price their products high like Nvidia

I can't imagine prices go up more than were Nvidia has them but who knows for sure

I think AMD is gonna try to pull a Sony and undercut them due to Nvidia’s poor launch MSRP

I wonder if Intel’s new line will be relevant in this gen too

wouldn't be surprised they have done that in the past just not in the high end in a long time
