oh f*** damn that’s insane actually. makes sense why the msrp is so high now. these companies are wanting to make up for potential losses eh
yeah definitely Nvidia knew this was coming they had this launch ready but now their stuck with a huge supply of 30 series cards
I doubt we get anything slower than the 4080 12GB anytime soon cause they still have a ton of 3080/3080ti/3090/3090ti to sell that would be in the same speed tier
no reason to make a 4060/4070 and undercut themselves, that's probably one reason their afraid to lower MSRP and make the warehouses of 30 series they still have to sell worth less overnight
Nvidia probably will cut prices and put out the 4060/4070 next year but they have to sell more 30 series cards first or get some heat from AMD

you think those 30 series prices might drop more? just so that they can get rid of the supply they have sitting there? would make sense no?

yeah probably at some point I think their trying to avoid it at the moment tho
can't decide if i should wait for the 7600xt or cop a 6600xt if the prices drop....
upgrading from a rx570 so I'll feel it either way lol
bro i want a 3d printer but i genuinely don’t know what i would do with it
3d print a g*n
Anyone upgrading to AM5 today?
no I plan to skip these
crazy motherboard and ram prices for these new CPUs
unless you need CPU power bad I'd just stick with last gen
DDR5 is irrelevant for most uses
crazy seeing these CPUs still in stock
PC market seems pretty dead, I remember last gen being out of stock for months
Interesting video tbh
Also it seems like the i9 13900KS is out early 2023 as I expect it to be the one they mentioned running at 6 Ghz
Also check this one fam...

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pV93XhiC1Yyeah sure the KS will be out in time for the 7800x 3D since they are similar CPUs just for gaming
yeah i watched that digital founders video looks cool need more benchmarks and dlss 3 testing, nice little teaser tho

11th gen still goin strong
11th gen still goin strong
yeah any CPU from 2019 or later still great
especially if you're gaming at 1440p or better and not aiming for more than 144hz
GPU almost always the bottleneck
upgrading CPUs only makes sense if you're using it for some task that uses the CPU heavy or gaming at 1080 240hz+
real
he ain't wrong about moore's law but I think these newer cards (30/40 series) are over engineered
they are designed to be the fasts possible, overclocked to the very limit
in a world with miners that probably makes a lot of business sense but I think Nvidia might have made a mistake putting this out now
if you brought the power usage down 20% you could use half the materials to cool these cards and that would lower the price to produce these cards, compare 30/40 series to 10/20
these things are hot bricks
also 3D stacking & multi die architectures will lower the price some, offer better performance with less cooling
AMD rumored to use a multi die architecture on RDNA3 👀 first GPU of its kind, hope the rumors are true
Should I upgrade from RX 6700 XT to 3070 ti?
I think 6700 xt is equivalent to a 3060 ti

nah i have a 3070ti and the differential is pretty close between those cards, it’s a side grade and in some ways a downgrade (8 vs 12gb vram)
the minimum card id consider an upgrade from that is the 3080 12gb
