Just ran my first mile since school, s*** kicked my ass but gonna keep with it. Gonna try to run at least every other day
running experts: after running, are you supposed to do a cold plunge/shower after?
I take a cold shower regardless. Especially in this hot ass heat.
Been doing this routine.
Distance
Recovery
Speed
Recovery
Off
Repeat
Distance days I just see how far I can go.
Recovery days I just keep my heat rate low and just run for like 30 minutes.
Speed days I just do intervals or ladders.
wanna go faster and further
cmon body hurry uppppp
dam such a good thread and I got back into running again a few months back. working on my 10k now, got out of 1 hour recently and now wanna cement it with my next race in October
surprised its not too active here, seems like everybody and their mom runs these days

It’s hot af outside
started running again due to cutting szn, damn I missed it.
hope I can get back to my previous times but already noticing running with the additional muscle isn't ideal
Fastest 5k yet

Omg twin

Been lean bulking since March so I weigh considerably more than I’d like for running but have been cutting for a month. Hope to keep improving in times although I’m new to running.
Let’s run!!!! Back at my mile/day, gonna get back up to 5K in a couple months
I was a long distance runner in my college years, now trying to get back into it seriously!

Yea, it was the first pair of shoes I felt some response back. Felt real bouncy and soft. It made me definitely a believer in higher end running shoes. I used to just go out and buy the cheap s***.

bro they are so nice, I would just buy Nike or adidas & the ASICS just blow them both out the water, you made such a good choice bro. I can’t believe how awesome they feel, they definitely have an unreal response my feet felt like they were on pillow the entire time I was running

Bro!!
you got long COVID? Is that why you can’t run now? That sucks man I am so sorry
but at least you can bike, how is that going?

I think so, I don't really know how to get tested or whatever but my cardio stamina is so f***ed. I've had covid 4-5 times
Biking is doable but keeping up with my friends can be hard. City has a bike league thing and I rarely get time to do it cause of school though. But it's so nice using my buddies crazy expensive bikes lol
I was never a good runner but I liked track in high school

Biking feels too easy. I’d rather run.
Idk man running is weird. I was running 5 miles a day in 90+ degree weather. Now it’s 50 and it’s hard to get 2 miles in. You just gotta push each time you go out.
so I way overdid my progressions running last time and killed my legs. now I'm back at it m/w/f and I removed the pace from my watch. just focused on running til i hit zone 3 and then walking back to zone 2, rinse and repeat for 20m
saw the most amazing sunrise Wednesday

fair but it's really only as easy as you make it. doing sprints or ascending mountains will have you dead on your wheels. something more visceral about running tho I'll give you that
Ramping up after taking some time off from injury. Miss this s***!
