Whew I'm trying to get to 12 miles also ideally
if you keep at it and dont strain yourself it'll come in no time. I went very hard last year and got injured so i skipped like 6 months before going to the doctor and figuring this out. getting back into it now and thats a good threshold, especially with gym 3 times a week

just hit a great hybrid session. started with a weighted run near zone 3, then immediately into strength training, then more conditioning, then more heavy lifts, and ended with a weighted run back home
Such a chore getting back into it but I need to

The only Nikes I’ve been told are worth giving a shot are the Invincibles or the Super Shoes. I’ve got a pair of their goretex trail running shoes for days that it rains that are nice.
little 2mi in the 99° heat not bad
Never ran in my life but started hitting the treadmill every other day a month ago. I’ve done a consistent 6mph on the treadmill every time bc I wanna get my endurance up. Couldn’t even go a full mile when I started but im up to 3.8 mi in 38 minutes, am trying to get to 4 miles this week and hopefully do this charity 5k thing w my homeboy

One mile on the treadmill feels like a 5k outside to me. It’s easier on the body for sure but the boredom really gets to me. Can’t get over the mental barrier of basically being on a hamster wheel lol
