Because of a ambush vs the #2 pirate crew in the verse
i'd go as far as to say zoro beats law so yes
you calling vice admirals mid?
Every time I seen a vice admiral in combat vs someone on par with them they usually get whooped
Take that however you wanna take it
Greenbull
Kizaru
Akainu
Fuji was useless in the bird cage

Zoro still doesn't recognize his conquer's haki at the moment so no
Once he sees his true haki potential then sure

they're fodder i wasn't gonna be the one to say it
oda clearly had little care about the fights here, that was just the equivalent of background noise for this arc honestly

I can only go off of the information I have now
Gonna let Oda cook but rn I have mixed feelings. Some of that is just because of the mythos/hype around Nika felt special and this kinda takes away from it. From another perspective it's a nice conclusion for Kuma/Bonney's story.
Now if Bonney is on par with whatever she believes in then yea, she's easily most broken character in the series
Her and Uta
The elders really f***ed up a golden opportunity
brainwash Bonney and make her believe she is the SUN and they have their infinite power source
it's not about it being crazy it's about how broken it could be
they lack the haki that certain individuals have to fully be able to capitalize on where that could go, but it has a plethora of possibilities
now i have zero expectation for it to actually achieve any of that but still cool to think about
It’s all about the execution, and I see where Oda is going with it power wise and narratively wise. Good thing there’s a limitation or it would be an issue. I don’t care at all for the power because I don’t care for Bonny and it’s unoriginal, but I like the symbolism in the very instance a whole lot. Two Nika giants sounds crazy lol I’m not in love with this decision but I don’t hate it since it fits OP

I mean most devil fruit powers aren't original ideas

It’s just copy, it needs to be done originally since it’s in every damn manga and you don’t want it to just be “i see so I copy”. I think the biggest reason I don’t care for Bonny or her power is that it just came about super recent.
Bonney power definitely something Oda just came up with recently tho lol
This, that’s why I’m saying the dislike is understandable, got to give it some time to develop so others can see the overall picture.

If she can be on par with what she turns into then it's a bit more OP then just copy because usually copy abilities have some sorta limit
Who'd have thought that out of everyone in the worst generation, the top 3 would be Luffy, BB, and BONNEY
Oda had other plans and the way Kid got treated you wouldn’t have expected it in the least. I’m laughing every time I’m reminded of this.

Nika inspiring this to me feels like the most Nika thing ever

J. Law and Eustass Drake going out sad
I guess I'm not in those same corners of Twitter as y'all are since I'm not seeing the hate but I don't understand why the hate is there seeing as this was the explanation of Bonney's powers and her potentially becoming a second Nika was foreshadowed right after the Kuma flashback during her dialogue with Saturn. All this s\*\*\* takes is some reading lmao
If anything this is like saying it kills Goku's initial transformation into a Super Saiyan since every other Saiyan ended up with the transformation, not when it makes sense within the context of the story

Probably misogyny
I believe in Oda to balance her power out but for now women hating niggas are not gonna be pleased!
Hard as bricks
