I think Imu the person is in Lili's body. There are three possible explanations for why she never went back to Alabasta, I think this is one of them

With what we know currently I feel like what's most likely is that Imu had the immortality surgery performed on them and is heated with Lili because she betrayed the WG 20, scattered the glyphs etc and murked her as a result

I think that's related to Imu's efforts to erase history/keep the world at large in the dark. It was highlighted during Vegapunk's speech that the CDs had no idea what he was talking about plus when Cobra brought up that the WG20 included an Imu, Imu snapped at dude. Oda has Ivan looking like a crazed OP theorist when they were deducing that Imu might have been one of the 20

Oda's silhouetted other characters before as well tho, so idk if i'd say it's reliable to go off that. I feel he also works backwards with silhouettes where he's not set on a final design and the silhouette allows that extra time for creativity. Simialar to Vegapunk there's also the possibility that Imu's design is goofy as f\*\*\*.

On top of that let's be honest, when has a silhouette ever really served a purpose in one piece? If we saw any character that was silhouetted without it instead would it change a thing for us as readers?

Like Oda likes to be kinda flashy, to create suspense, he loves his countdowns that don't actually mean anything. He loves his silhouettes. Us seeing Kaido or Big Mom wouldn't have changed s*** for us as readers tho outside of suspense on seeing their design

So I feel you, but at the same time it's never really held any weight when Oda does that stuff far as story goes when I really think about it

A high regarded individual on the staff didn’t like how he used colors saying that it didn’t “look” like OP. They cited when Kid and Law got punched in #1066 and the nail in the coffin was the Kuzan sequence in #1093.
