I could care less about a local target because they'll be unaffected when this is all over.

I don’t condone it but I understand why it happens. Also its interesting how conservatives seem to care more about the looting itself than the reason behind the looting. It’s that lack of understanding that causes this s*** to happen in the first place

I think a lot of people are taking advantage of the movement by looting and vandalizing. Peaceful protests won’t make a difference, but how will this? At the end of the day, people with racist and corrupt ideologies won’t budge. Anything minorities do only drive their hate. The most powerful thing we can do is strive to educate others early on and emphasize empathy. It’s not ideal, but as sad as it sounds, this will always exist as long as people with hate reproduce.
