The scene is definitely meant to be disturbing and uncomfortable, but that’s completely the point. For just a second, Nolan puts us in the mind of Oppy’s wife and we can see how she is still haunted by the thought of their affair

I also love the horror vibes

With all due respect to her I don’t see why we should care about her POV. And I don’t see why we would get it for 3 seconds. Nobody really cares about her. Even less relevant when she cheated on her own ex husband too. Nobody is going to pity you.

Overall I felt like the movie made all of the women look like terrible people tbh

Movie was fine overall just unnecessary nudity that was doubly unnecessary because it wasnt even eye candy

My gripe was just that none of those scenes added anything. They all felt out of place.

Like really we’re doing mid party rizz ups with quick cuts to cowgirl nudity in a historical biopic? That’s some 2000s raunchy comedy s***.

But if there’s gonna be unnecessary nudity at least make it worth our while or something. We ain’t even see Murphy swinging when I was told we were getting frontal of both.

I do think the hallucination of s***with a dead woman during his hearing did something and I am not even joking. It is a woman he felt so guilty about the death of . Kitty saw that lol she didn't see japanese people dying. She didn't see even their child in pain. But she saw her loved one and that embarrassment and she cared more about that s*** than people getting blown to smithereens

I think everyone knew long before that scene that was a terrible self absorbed person. It was clear as day when she cheated on her other husband and neglected her child

But yea like I said before I don’t care about her perspective and it was odd to shift to it for all of 5 seconds of screen time.

We all got the point about her embarrassment when she was constantly begging Opp to fight back and questioning why he lets them pick their life apart. Don’t think we needed to see her become a cuckqueen on screen
