Except this probably won't do anything to Game Freak.

There was 10 million sales in 3 days of Scarlet and Violet despite people saying how broken and buggy the game was. That franchise is a juggernaut. People was suppose to protest Shield and Sword, Shield and Sword is the second best selling Pokemon game of all time and 5 million sales away from surpassing Red and Blue.

This discourse is just stupid. People will still buy Pokemon and Palworld probably won't even be a thing anymore. The situation surrounding this game is just deplorable

Yea Pokemon as a brand is too big too fail. Even with subpar games it's like COD or a sports game. Something else could be fun, but it's not stomping out the giant that already exists. People that think that are really not thinking at all.
