the idea that we need to be upset about this game's success is because they could maybe also copy an indie team is hilarious and pointless fear mongering. i guarantee none of these people had a problem with vampire survivors been a damn near clone of magical survival and vs is one of the biggest indie hits of recent. where was the outrage for lies of p? lords of the fallen completely ripped fromsoft's entire art direction and was praised for it. hi rez built their entire company on copying other devs. splitgate was copying halo and portal and people loved it. i can go on and on about games where their premise, art direction, gameplay, etc are direct copies of what other devs have done or are doing and there's hardly ever outrage, let alone one of this level
this is nothing more than nintendo babies masking their concern for a billion dollar company as caring for the little guy cause otherwise they'd look pathetic, which they do

i don't own the game and don't plan on playing it, i just find the outrage surrounding the game to be hilarious and incredibly hypocritical. if you're talking about the claims that they stole meshes from pokemon the person who initially made those claims with "evidence" admitted that they scaled the palworld meshes to fit their claims
